What we help with
Clinical hypnotherapy designed to help you break unhelpful patterns and perform at your best.
Stop the overthinking cycle
You perform well externally, but internally your mind rarely stops. We help you break the loop of over-analysing, second-guessing, and replaying conversations so you can feel calm, grounded, and clear-headed in any situation.
Command your space without pretending
True confidence is not about being the loudest person in the room. We help you overcome imposter feelings and fear of judgment so you can speak up in meetings, trust your decisions, and lead with steady, quiet authority.
Regain your internal balance
When you run on high alert for too long, exhaustion follows. We help you release accumulated tension, reset your nervous system, and establish the mental boundaries needed to protect your energy and sleep.

The inner experience
You look confident on the outside. But what is happening on the inside?
For high-functioning professionals, anxiety rarely looks like panic. It looks like over-preparation, replaying conversations, and staying quiet when you have something to say. You are highly capable — but the mental cost is exhausting.
You cannot out-think an overthinking mind. Clinical hypnotherapy works directly with the subconscious to rewire the patterns that are keeping you stuck.
- Quiet the internal noise and stop second-guessing yourself
- Respond to pressure with calm, grounded clarity
- Regain control of your focus, your confidence, and your energy
Areas of focus
Targeted clinical support for the high-functioning mind.
You don’t need years of talking therapy to change how you feel. We use strategic clinical hypnotherapy to update the subconscious patterns driving anxiety, overthinking, and performance blocks at the source.
Stress, burnout & overwhelm
Stop running on adrenaline. Rebuild your capacity to handle high-pressure environments without the physical and mental toll.
Habits & compulsive patterns
Whether it’s emotional eating, doom-scrolling, or self-sabotage, we resolve the underlying trigger so willpower is no longer required.
Self-doubt & confidence
Silence the internal critic. Build a quiet, steady internal foundation that doesn’t rely on external validation or perfectionism.
Social & performance anxiety
Break the cycle of pre-event dread, imposter syndrome, and the exhausting need to appear perfectly capable at all times.
Insomnia & racing thoughts
Switch off the hyper-vigilant mind. Train your nervous system to release the day’s tension and return to deep, restorative sleep.
Phobias & specific fears
From public speaking and flying to specific triggers. We dismantle the automatic fear response quickly and permanently.
What you need to know
What most people get wrong about clinical hypnotherapy.
It is not about losing control.
You remain fully aware and in control throughout every session. Hypnotherapy is a focused, relaxed state — not unconsciousness.
You don’t need to spend years talking about the past.
This is brief, focused work. Most clients see meaningful change in three to six sessions, not three to six years.
You don’t need to “believe” in it for it to work.
Clinical hypnotherapy works at the level of the subconscious. Scepticism is welcome — the process does not require faith to be effective.

The science
Clinical hypnotherapy is grounded in neuroscience and research.
Modern clinical hypnotherapy is not mystical or theatrical. It is a measurable, evidence-informed process that works with how your nervous system already operates — shifting patterns at the level where they are actually stored.
Peer-reviewed research shows hypnotherapy can reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and shift ingrained behaviours in fewer sessions than traditional talking therapy. Joel’s model draws on strategic psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis, and NLP — all grounded in published clinical literature.
“…I can now say I am in control of how I choose to live my life from day to day. I am relaxed, I am calm and quietly positive…”

What to expect
Common questions.
What is clinical hypnotherapy?
A practical, evidence-informed process that works directly with the subconscious mind — the part of you that runs your automatic responses, emotional reactions, and ingrained patterns of behaviour. Using guided relaxation and focused attention, we create a state where the subconscious becomes more receptive to change.
Will I be in control the whole time?
Yes. You remain completely aware throughout every session. Hypnotherapy is a focused, relaxed state — not sleep, not unconsciousness, not loss of control. You can open your eyes and end the session at any time.
Can anyone be hypnotised?
Almost everyone can experience the focused-attention state used in clinical hypnotherapy. Some people enter it more easily than others, but capability is not a question of intelligence or willpower — it’s a question of comfort and rapport with your practitioner.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients see meaningful change in three to six sessions. This is brief, focused work — not open-ended talking therapy. Your curiosity call will give you a clearer sense of what is realistic for your specific situation.
“…He helps with quieting the internal voices of discontent and replacing them with calm, supportive ones…”
